Super Army War is a 2D side-scrolling shooter with a military scenery. The player can control two different air crafts depending on the mission: a Huey or a WWII-era propeller fighter. Each vehicle has its own mechanics such as the ability to pick-up troopers from the ground for the Huey, and a higher speed for the fighter. As he flies through each of the sixteen missions, the player must destroy enemy tanks, soldiers and helicopters, and protect his own army. The goal is to take over enemy bunkers to gain credits and destroy the enemy base. As the game progresses, other weapons can be acquired.
